About Brainlab
Orthopedic Trauma
Brainlab develops, manufactures and markets software-driven medical technology that supports targeted, less-invasive orthopedic trauma procedures. Core products include computer-assisted surgery (CAS) systems and software that provide real-time information for fluoroscopic image enrichment, driving improved speed, first-pass accuracy and radiation efficiency.
Brainlab expands the value of CAS for trauma procedures, combining cloud-based OrthoWeb, TraumaCad and Trauma CAS. Surgeons, physician groups and hospitals can easily move images from the clinic to the OR making digital information available where and when it is needed.
Designed for routine and complex procedures, Brainlab software can be used to treat fractures in various areas of the body. The intuitive user interface and flexible workflows offer universal tool integration and an open platform for surgeons to use the implant and tool manufacturers of their choice.
Founded in 1989, the privately held Brainlab group has over 5,000 systems installed in more than 80 countries. Based in Munich, Germany, Brainlab employs 970 people in 16 offices worldwide.
